Hey everyone! Thought I’d tap out a short blog as I sit on the runway in Atlanta waiting for departure to South Africa. This will be my first trans-Atlantic flight and it’s almost 18 hours long! I don’t know what I’ll do with all that time…maybe catch up on much needed sleep and some reading. I may need the rest as we are opening 3 stadium shows for Metallica! I’ll try to post at some point during our time over there.
Since my last post, we had an amazing full-band photo shoot (which will be featured on CS.com very soon!) as well as a very exciting run to New York City that included another charity-based acoustic show for designer Kenneth Cole, and an appearance at a party hosted by designer Marc Jacobs for Blondie’s induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. What a trip it was to mingle with the likes of Debbie Harry, Steve Stevens, and to glance across the room and to see our singer Ed engaged in a conversation with Moby! How surreal!
Thanks so much to everyone who wrote emails and who made signs/cards wishing me a happy birthday. That really does mean a lot to me. Until next time…
